Our Ultrasonic Repeller will drive away Birds, Bats, Cats, Dogs, Rodents, Skunks, Opossums, Armadillos, Raccoons, Deer, or Insects that are within the range (45 ft with a horizontal range of 170 degrees and a vertical range of around 60 degrees).
Note: If you have a cat or a dog we recommend turning the device off when they are in the same area. This depends on the frequency you are using because cats and dogs can have very different levels of hearing depending on age or size. Other types of pets such as rodents or insects may be more sensitive. Ultrasonic waves cannot penetrate surfaces, so put them in a box or leave them behind and out of range of the device.
The device is an animal repeller and it will bother different animals that have a similar hearing frequency range, including dogs, cats, birds, and others.
If they are inside your home, or behind barriers, walls, doors, fences, etc, they won't be affected, the ultrasound will not reach them.
It won’t harm them or hurt their hearing sense, it will only make them step away from that area.
However, the unit is adjustable, and you can set the frequency just to deter unwanted animals without affecting your pets.
You can use our product either with the AC Adapter (included) or with four C Batteries (not included).
AC Adapter: the unit comes with an AC adapter. Please, remove the back cover from the device and plug in the adapter. The length of this cable is 1.7m / 5.57 ft.
4 “C” size Batteries: Please remove the back panel by gently pulling it off to install the batteries. Make sure the positive and negative poles match the poles printed on the unit.
Our Repeller emits 15 kHz to 25 kHz frequencies and it is adjustable.
Find on the Frequency dial the range of frequencies and the pests they are effective at repelling as a guide.
The Frequency dial is located in the top middle of the device. It is the largest dial, remove the back cover from your device so you can see it.
You will see a variety of ranges indicated around the dial, identified by the animals they ideally repel.
Insects and large animals are repelled by lower frequencies (counter-clockwise).
Rodents are repelled by higher frequencies (clockwise).
Yes, you can power it by using the A/C Adapter too.
Remove the back cover of the unit by gently pulling it off.
Plug one end of the A/C adapter into the 9-volt D/C jack beside the frequency dial.
Plug the other end into any standard A/C outlet.
Thread the A/C adapter cord through the notch at the bottom of the unit and then replace the back cover by snapping it into place.
If you do not have a weather-proof electrical outlet, the adapter should be plugged in indoors.
Our device uses 4 “C” size Batteries (not included).
The range is from 5 to 45 feet/1.5 to 14 meters.
First, set it to maximum and reduce it if you find the device activates when there is no motion in the area.
Range: up to 80 feet (25m) from the device.
Once the unit is powered, the remote can be used to activate the 4 functions:
Ultrasonic: Bottom left button.
It will turn on the high-frequency sound that repels pests from your yard or open area.
Press the button once to activate it, and a light will turn on, and the sound will be activated for about 20 sec.
Strobe: Bottom right button.
It will activate the Strobe light function. This function is useful and effective against birds and pests that are active at night. The Strobe light only functions at night or in dark places.
Press the button once and the strobe light will turn on and stay for 20 sec.
Standby mode: Top right button.
You can choose this function to switch your device off if you want to use your yard, garden, etc, without setting it off or unplugging the device.
Press the Standby button to deactivate your device, you will hear a long beep sound, the device's red light will flash continuously and all the functions (except for Turbo) will be on Standby mode.
To activate the device again, press the Standby button once, and you will hear a shorter beep sound.
Turbo Function: Top left button.
It will turn on all functions for 20 seconds (Ultrasonic, Sonic, and strobe). It works even when the device is on Standby mode, and it helps to avoid large animals/intruders entering your property, giving you time to get help or leave the area.
To adjust the volume of the alarm, remove the back cover and adjust the sonic volume.
