iCam365 Quick Start Guide 


Dear user, Thank you for choosing this product. Please read the operation manual carefully before using the product, and keep the operation manual for later reference.


  • Use your mobile phone to scan the QR code and download the iCam365 APP.
  • Search the mobile app market for ‘iCam365’to download. 





3.1 Create a new account 

When launching the APP for the first time, users need to register through their mobile phone number or email account. Click ‘create a new account’ to complete the registration of creating a new account and log in. 


3.2 Add a camera



Tips: this product only supports 2.4GHz WLAN. Before adding the device, please ensure that your router is 2.4GHZ WLAN and your mobile phone is connected to 2.4GHz WLAN.


3.2.1 Add device by AP hot-spots 


  • Turn on the power, hear the broadcast ‘the camera is started, waiting for the distribution network to be added’(If you cannot hear the broadcast. Please press the reset button to restore the factory settings). 
  • After the phone is connected to WLAN, click ‘add device’ in the main interface of the APP and select ‘add device by AP hot-spots’. 
  • Follow the guidance to connect to WLAN with the AICAM_XXXXXX field, and click next after connecting. 
  • Select your own WLAN, enter the password and click the next step. The machine will broadcast ‘receiving network information, connect to the router’, wait for the broadcast ‘router connection success’, and final broadcast ‘adding complete’. 

 

3.2.2 Scan code to add a device 


  • Turn on the power, hear the broadcast ‘the camera is started, waiting for the distribution network to be added’(If you cannot hear the broadcast, please press the reset button to restore the factory settings). 
  • After the phone is connected to WLAN, click ‘add device’ in the main interface of the APP and select“ scan code to add device ”。


  • Enter your WIFI account and password and click next. When the QR code appears, point the phone screen directly in front of the camera lens, 10-20m apart, and try not to let the phone shake during the process. 
  • After hearing the device broadcast ‘receive distribution network information, connect to the router’, click ‘hear the sound’ and wait for the device to broadcast ‘router connection success’ and then broadcast ‘adding complete’ 




3.3 add a device by AP hot-spots


  • Power on the camera, and hear the broadcast ‘the camera is started, waiting for the distribution network to be added’(If you cannot hear the broadcast, please press the reset button to restore the factor settings); 
  • Open iCam365 and click local login, click add devices; Follow the operation guide to connect to the WLAN with the AICAM_XXXXXX field. 
  • Return to the iCam365 APP to see the added camera.




4.1 View live screen




4.1.1 Pan-tilt control 

Tips: at present, only head-shaking machine and head gun support direction control function.

  •  Click the pan-tilt icon in the real-time viewing interface and the steering wheel will appear and you can control the camera rotation. 


4.1.2 Voice intercom

  • Click the intercom icon in the real-time viewing interface, and the intercom screen will appear to intercom with people besides the camera. 

4.1.3 View playback 

Tips: The default mode for video playback is cloud recording. If you want to watch SD card recording, please go to the settings switch view path to switch video viewing mode.


  • The replayed video has color distinction. Black means there is no video at present, gray means there is video. Green is the mobile event, orange is the sound event, blue is the intelligent alarm message, different colors will be marked on the left time axis according to different event types, and the event thumbnail in the video will be displayed on the right side. 


  • Click the date icon to view videos of the selected date. 

 

4.2 Check for alarm messages

Click the ‘
 ’ icon in the upper-left corner of the device list to view all alarm messages of all devices under the current account.


Click the ‘
’ icon under a single device. If the device has been purchased smart reminder services, all smart alarm messages of the device can be viewed.


Click the ‘ ’ icon in the upper-left corner of the alarm message interface to quickly screen the alarm messages you want to view. Users can view the picture of the alarm message after clicking it, or the video if they purchase a value-added service.



4.3 Setting management

5.1 Cloud storage service

 This product provides 30 days of cloud storage services for free. And you can choose whether to purchase cloud storage services or not after expiration. 

  • After adding the device for the first time, click the cloud service icon and you can get 30 days free.


  • Click the cloud service icon to enter the package ordering interface. 
  • Different cloud package services are provided. Each package is divided into monthly package and annual package, which can be purchased as needed. 
  • Payment mode choices include Alipay. After selecting, it will automatically jump to the payment interface to complete the payment.




5.2 Smart reminder service 


This product provides 30 days smart reminder service for free. And you can choose whether to purchase a smart reminder service or not after expiration. 

  • After adding the device for the first time, click the cloud service icon and you can get 30 days free.
  • Click the smart reminder service icon to enter the package ordering interface. 
  • Different smart reminder services are provided. Each package is divided into a monthly package and an annual package, which can be purchased as needed. 
  • Payment mode choices include Alipay. After selecting, it will automatically jump to the payment interface to complete the payment. 


COMMON PROBLEMS



1. Why can't you add devices with a WIFI connection?


 Please ensure that the device has been restored to factory settings before adding the device. Long press the reset button until a voice prompt appears. In addition, the camera only supports a 2.4GHz WLAN signal. If it is a 5GHz router, please turn on the dual-frequency mode of the router and select a 2.4GHz signal。

 A four-step voice prompt will appear in the normal process:

 (1) ‘The camera is started, waiting for the distribution network to be added’. 

(2) ‘Receiving distribution network information, connecting to the router’. 

(3) ‘Router connection success’ 

(4) ‘Adding complete’ 


Fail to hear(1),equipment hardware failure. 


Fail to hear(2),no response when using WLAN QR code scanning, please check the lens. 

Fail to hear(3),the camera failed to obtain IP. Please make sure the number of internet devices mounted on the target router is within a reasonable range, otherwise please try again after reducing the mount or restarting the router.


Fail to hear(4),the server connection failed. Please provide MAC address information of the device to our after-sales FAE to check. 


2. Why is the video stuttering?


Cloud service trial package, warning video package, and TF card event video mode are all recorded only when an anomaly is detected, so recording may not be continuous.



3. Why the video is still stuttering with the TF card inserted when choosing continuous video?

1. Make sure that the video viewing channel is an SD card, and format the SD card first. If the video is still stuttering, there may be some bad spots on the SD card. 


2. If the loss is once or twice a day, about two minutes at a time, then it is normal as the camera releases memory and restarts. 



4. Why the TF card can`t be recognized by the camera? 


First, confirm whether the TF card meets the requirements. And the TF card will not be recognized when the network is unstable. You can change video definition to standard to avoid the loading problem of SD cards due to poor network.


 

5. Why the recording timeline is blank when using the TF card after the expiration of the cloud services? 



When the cloud services expire, you will not be able to view the cloud videos. If the card has not been inserted before, there will be no video. If the card has been plugged in all the time, or the original video has disappeared suddenly, confirm whether the TF card status is normal in the APP first, and the recording mode is not ‘no recording’. If the TF status is abnormal, or normal but no video recording, please format the card before inserting it. Otherwise, it is probably because the card's life is up. Please change to a new TF card.


 

6. Why can't the phone receive the alarm message?


 First, confirm that the notification push permission of the APP in the phone settings is open, and then open ‘motion detection’ and ‘voice monitoring’ in the notification settings of the APP. And the current time is not in the planned period of stop notification. Normally, a message will appear on the phone notification bar when an anomaly is detected. Whether or not there is sound or vibration depends on the phone's settings. In addition, when watching the real-time picture in the APP, no alarm of the camera being watched will be sent, as the default user is focusing on the monitoring picture, so no need to alarm. 


7. What if the camera shows disconnection? 


First, confirm whether the power supply and network are normal, and then power off the camera and restart it if there is no problem. If the call is still dropped after rebooting, remove the camera from the APP and read it.



8. Why there is a circle in the middle of the screen and the video lag when watching?


 The circle means the video is loading. Please check if the network between the camera and the phone is smooth。


 9. How many accounts can you share with your family members? How to cancel sharing? 


10 at most, Long press or left slide to cancel the Shared account, then click delete icon. 


10. Maximum how many people can access an account simultaneously??


 For your security, one account can only be logged in on one phone at a time.

 

11. Why does it fail to configure camera WLAN with other accounts?


 One camera can only be tied to one account, while others can only view it through a sharing mechanism. If other accounts need to reconfigure the camera, please use the first account to remove the device. 


12. How to view SD card recording on the mobile phone?


 Under the condition of ensuring the normal operation of the SD card, switch the channel of watching the video to SD card mode to view the SD card recording on the timeline.
