Ready to get started? Connect the jacket to the power bank in the package and warm up in the cold winter. Please read the instructions prior to first use and keep them for your future reference.
BEFORE USE
The battery(power bank) should be fully charged before first use, or after a long period of no use (2 months or more).
Charge the power bank by connecting it to the supplied charger.
*** Note: Please ensure the battery pocket is zippered when using the product in rain or in wet conditions. The zippered battery pocket protects the battery pack from getting wet, which could result in fire or other personal injuries.
*****The hood is detachable.
Locate the battery zipper pocket and the power cable on the inside of the apparel.
Connect the battery(power bank) to the cable before inserting it into the pocket
Close the pocket zipper
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
To turn it ON, press and hold the Heated jacket power button (A) for about 3 seconds.
Heating zones will now be activated. The apparel will begin to preheat and the LED light will be blinking red. Then, it will automatically switch to medium heat (white LED light).
The temperature setting can be adjusted at any time by pressing the Heated Jacket power button. One press will cycle through the Heated Jacket’s temperature settings.
Pre-Heat- Red LED fades on and off
High- Red LED continuous 56° / 132.8°F
Medium- White LED continuous 46° / 114.8°F
Low- Blue LED continuous 39° / 102.2°F
To turn off the Heated Jacket, press and hold the Heated Jacket power button until the LED turns off (about 3 seconds).
*** Note: To remove the battery, unzip the battery holder pocket, remove the battery, and disconnect the power cable.
The jacket has 9 heating zones- warmth to the neck, full back with 6 heating zones, and 2 heating zones in the front pockets.
BATTERY
The jacket comes with a Certified Li-battery Portable 10000mAh 5V rechargeable power bank battery. It allows you to charge your phone while you are getting warmed. It contains 2 USB ports + 1 type C charger. When completely empty, the battery will take ~3 hours to fully recharge. 4 dots on the battery will be lit depending on the charge level.
MAINTENANCE
Before washing, disconnect and remove the battery(power bank) from the zipper pocket, put the connector back, and zip up.
Use a mesh laundry bag.
Machine wash gently cycle in cold water.
Do not iron.
Do not bleach. Cleaning solvents may damage or lessen the effect of the insulated heating elements.
Do not dry clean.
Do not wring or twist.
Line dry only. Do not machine dry.
DO NOT allow the cord to get tangled, pinched, or damaged in the battery pocket. Damaged cords can lead to fires.
DO NOT attach pins or any other object to the product. Doing so may damage the electrical wiring.
SAFETY NOTES
Allow the product to dry completely before wearing if the inner lining becomes wet. Water entering a heated garment will increase the risk of electric shock.
Disconnect the battery from the power cable and remove the battery pack before storing or hand washing the product. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of the product accidentally turning on.
Use the product in accordance with these instructions, making sure the product is suitable for the environment you are in.
Consult your physician to determine if using this product is appropriate. Some medical conditions, medical devices, or medications can cause sensitivity to heat.
Shut off the power immediately if any sort of discomfort occurs.
Please stop using the product immediately if the product shows any signs of malfunction.
Follow the maintenance instructions written in this manual.
Don’t use the product on:
An infant or young child
An immobile person
A person with diabetes, paralyzed person, a person with conditions that could cause the skin to be sensitive to temperature changes, or a person with poor blood circulation
Anyone who cannot clearly understand the instructions and/or operate controls
Never use the product if the power button doesn’t turn on or off. Any heated jacket that cannot be controlled with the power button is not safe and should be repaired
Never use the product when sleeping
Never use the product under the influence of drugs or alcohol as this can increase skin sensitivity and/or impair the ability to recognize a burning sensation
Never allow the heating elements to touch bare skin
